How a night works

Ten minutes to read, and you'll never need to ask ops a question again. Everything happens in two places: Telegram (jobs and updates) and the driver app (money, buttons, settlement).

🚀 One-time setup

1Link your Telegram

Open @Valetsgbot in Telegram and send: /link your mobile number (e.g. /link 9123 4567). You'll get your dispatches, updates, and pay slips there.

2Bookmark the driver app

Sign in at 98valet.com/driver with your mobile — a one-time code, no password. Add it to your home screen. It shows your live earnings, jobs, and the end-of-night settlement.

🌙 Every shift

3Start of shift: share your live location

In the @Valetsgbot chat: 📎 attach → Location → Share Live Location → 8 hours. Dispatch sees where you are, which means faster pickups for you and fewer phone calls. It stops by itself after 8 hours — that's it, once per shift.

4A job arrives (valet)

Your job card shows the customer, car, pickup pin, destination, what to collect, and your fee. Call the customerto confirm you're coming. At the car: photograph all 4 sides + the dashboard (fuel + mileage) — every trip, no exceptions. It protects you.

5START — and record any waiting

The moment you set off with the customer, reply START to the bot (or tap Start in the app). If the customer made you wait past the booked time, enter the minutes you waited when you start the first 15 minutes are free, after that the customer pays $20 per 20-minute block and you keep $6 of each block. At 10 minutes, tap "Customer late" so we message them before anything is charged. If you don't record it, you don't get paid for it.

6DONE — payment, tip, and your ride onwards

Parked and keys handed over? Tap Done in the app: enter the tip received and whether the customer paid cash or PayNow — every trip, on the spot. At the end of the night your PayNow income is tallied against what you recorded (see step 8), so record it right the first time.

Your job card already names who's collecting you— call them if you don't see the car. Sometimes your next job is nearby and you'll get a self-move offer instead: make your own way (+$7) or Grab there (claim up to $10 with receipt).

7Recovery drivers: your route

Your route list alternates two kinds of legs: deliver(drop a valet at his customer's car — $6, $5 on group runs, +$4 Sentosa) and pickup(fetch a valet from the drop-off — $7, +$5 late-night). The route updates itself as the night moves; just drive the next leg. Keep your live location on — it's how the system routes you well.

💰 End of night

8Settle before you go home

When the night closes, your app shows the settlement. Open your banking app, screenshot tonight's PayNow transactions received, and attach it — one screenshot, whole night. Then PayNow the stated amount using the steps on your settlement — choose VPA in your banking app and put your reference in the comments field(without it we can't tell whose payment it is, and you'll get chased for money you already sent) — then tap I've paid. All of this happens before you head home — the cash you collected belongs to the company minus your cut. Recovery drivers: the company PayNows you by 6am.

Your itemised pay slip arrives in Telegram — every trip, every dollar, line by line. If anything looks wrong, reply there and ops will sort it in the morning.

Tips are yours — declare every one. You keep 80% of every tip; 20% goes to the recovery driverswho ferried you all night (they can't earn tips any other way — one team). Solo trips with no recovery driver: you keep 100%.

Cash bonuses on top: the company awards bonuses for Google reviews that mention your name, great ratings, and rock-solid reliability. Awards are announced; do great work and it finds you.

⚠️ The three absolutes

1. Zero alcohol or drugs on shift. Zero.

2. Customer details are not yours to keep. They vanish from your app after each trip by design. Never save, share, or use them.

3. Any incident, however small — report it immediately, before leaving the scene. A kerb rash reported tonight is a conversation; one discovered tomorrow is a problem.
