Your first drive-home valet trip starts with a short WhatsApp message and ends with you handing over cash or PayNow at your own front door — everything in between is a licensed driver taking the wheel of your own car while you ride home as a passenger. Here's exactly what to expect, step by step, if you've never booked one before.

The WhatsApp message to send

You don't need a script. A message as simple as "Hi, I need a driver — I'm at [location], car's a [make/model], heading to [area]" gives us everything we need to get started. If it's easier, the 10-second form asks for the same basics without you needing to type it out yourself. Either way, we're asking for the same three things: where you are, where your car is, and where you're headed — no account, no app download, no advance payment.

What happens after you message us

We confirm the trip and match you to a driver who suits your car — automatic or manual, compact or something larger — based on what you told us. From confirmation, expect your driver to reach you in about 15 minutes, a little longer on a busy Friday night or if you're somewhere less central. What your driver does on arrival — the seat and mirror ritual

Before your driver ever touches the wheel, he resets nothing without asking first. Your seat position, your mirrors, your radio station — all stay exactly as you left them unless you tell him otherwise. Your keys stay in your own hands until you choose to hand them over yourself, not before. It's a small ritual, but a deliberate one: the point is that it's your car the entire trip, with someone else doing the driving, not a car that briefly stops being yours the moment a stranger gets in.

The recovery rider, explained

Every trip runs with two people, not one. Your driver takes the wheel and drives you home. A recovery rider follows the whole way on a separate vehicle, and is there the moment your driver drops you and your car at your door — he picks your driver up and they move on to the next job together, rather than leaving your driver stranded outside your home with no way back. As the passenger, you won't interact much with the rider directly; he's there so your driver isn't left alone at the end of your trip, and so two people know exactly where your car and driver are the entire time, not one person operating unaccounted for. Payment at drop-off

You pay once you're home — cash or PayNow, directly to your driver. We never take payment upfront, and there's nothing to pre-authorise or hold on a card before your driver even arrives. The amount is whatever you agreed to when you booked: the flat $45 base plus any add-ons that genuinely applied to your specific trip.

Tipping — optional, never expected

Tipping isn't built into our pricing and isn't expected from you at drop-off. If your driver did a genuinely good job and you'd like to show it, that's entirely your call and entirely appreciated — but nobody's going to hint for one, and declining to tip doesn't change anything about how your trip was handled. The flat rate is the flat rate; anything extra is between you and your driver, not a line item we ask about.

What to have ready before your driver arrives

Nothing complicated — just your car's rough location within the venue or car park, and your own destination confirmed in your head. If your car's tucked in a mall basement or down a side lane, a quick pin or level number saves your driver a few minutes hunting for it.
