Drive-Home Valet for Weddings & Events
Drive-home valet isn't just a D&D thing — weddings, milestone birthdays, and reunion dinners all come with the same problem: a room full of people who drove, and a night that's supposed to end well for everyone. Here's how to actually plan it, whether you're the couple, the host, or the family member who ended up in charge of logistics.
Why events are different from a solo booking
A single person booking a ride home for themselves is straightforward. An event is a coordination problem — multiple cars, multiple pickup points across one venue's car park, guests who may not want to think about logistics on the happiest or most relaxed night of their year. The organiser's job is to remove that thinking entirely, not add another thing for guests to manage on the way out the door.
Group pricing
The more cars you bring into a single booking, the lower the per-car rate:
| Cars in one booking | Price per car |
|---|---|
| 1 car | $45 |
| 2 cars | $42 each |
| 3 or more cars | $40 each |
This applies to cars booked together in the same order for roughly the same pickup window — not a general discount code, just the saving from planning several trips as one job instead of many separate ones. Full base pricing, including off-peak and Sentosa add-ons, is on our pricing page.
Booking for your guests, not yourself
You don't need every guest to book their own driver. Whoever's organising — the couple's best man or maid of honour, the birthday host, the family member who volunteered to sort out the reunion dinner — can book on behalf of the whole group in one go. What we need is each person's name, number, and where their car actually is, since drivers usually need to reach several cars scattered across a venue rather than one central pickup point. We coordinate directly with each guest over WhatsApp once bookings are confirmed, so nobody needs to manage anything themselves beyond being findable when their driver arrives.
This solves the trickiest bit at weddings and reunion dinners in particular: the relative who's clearly had a wonderful night and isn't in a state to sort out their own ride. A family member can book on their behalf, and all that person needs to do is get into their own car when the driver shows up.
Advance booking, for a night you can actually plan around
Weddings and milestone events usually have a known date and a rough end time months in advance — book ahead rather than waiting until the night itself, so we can plan driver coverage properly instead of scrambling for whoever's free that hour. We run fully on-demand from 8pm to 6am with no notice required for smaller, spontaneous bookings, but for a scheduled event — especially a larger one, or anything outside that window — advance notice means every guest's driver is already accounted for before the first toast.
Two details make the planning much easier on our end: roughly how many cars to expect, and roughly when the event actually wraps. A hard 10pm cutoff for a birthday dinner plans very differently from a wedding banquet that could run until midnight, and a reunion dinner where people drift out over two hours is different again.
The host etiquette angle
If you're hosting — and especially if you're the one who invited everyone to drive over — arranging drive-home valet ahead of time is one of the more thoughtful things you can build into the night without saying a word about it at the table. Nobody has to ask, nobody has to feel awkward admitting they've had one too many to drive, and nobody's night ends with an argument at the car park about who's fit to get behind the wheel. The best send-off gift at the end of a wedding or a big family dinner isn't a favour bag — it's making sure everyone actually gets home safely, in their own car, without having to think about it themselves.
The short version
Tell us the date, roughly how many cars, and roughly what time people expect to leave, as early as you can — we'll take it from there.
